I am offering to young women who are entering into maidenhood an opportunity to ask questions, have safe discussions, and receive basic gynecological education with a midwife's gentle touch. The midwifery model of care includes educating women so that they may make informed choices in healthcare.

An appointment will include discussion of:

• Physical body changes
• Monthy menses
• Sexual relations
• Sexually transmitted diseases
• Birth control
• General health
• Emotional changes

You will receive:

• Information and awareness
• A gentle acceptance of the changes in your body
• Resource contacts if needed
• A goody bag of holistic natural supplies

Additional care includes:

• Teaching of self breast exam
• Specific resources for receiving PAP/HPV screening and treatment
• Specific resources for receiving STD screening and treatment
• Continued future support

Parents or guardians:
A complete outline of information that will be discussed between the young client and myself and is available upon request.

Girls:
All conversation will be honored as private and confidential.
